Assembled 4-Digit Small Tube Nixie Clock for IN-17 tubes

The SNC4 is a factory assembled Nixie Clock kit, which requires only minimal soldering. It is designed for people who want to quickly and easily have a full functional, fully featured Nixie Clock. There are a handful of easy to assemble components you need to put on the board, but all the hard work is already done.

The basic board features an original DS3231 highly accurate, temerature compensated RTC (Real Time Clock) time source, so that the clock always shows the right time.

Optionally, you can also enable WiFi access in the clock which makes the clock fully Internet enabled, so that the time is never wrong (Eeven DST changes are automatic), and the WiFi integration also lets you configure the clock using an ordinary web browser.

The board comes with firmware already loaded. You do not need to program it, but can if you want. The code is open source.

For more experienced constructors, a self-assembly kit is also available, which needs complete SMD assembly. For this you will need some special tools and techniques: solder paste and a heat gun are recommended, a reflow oven is an advantage if you have one.

The wall power supply is not included. You will need to get an external power supply (5VDC micro USB-B) and a USB power lead. Suitable mains wall power adapters are available on Ebay for around $3!

Tools, solder and some connecting wire is not included.

Assembled kit (with tubes): You get the main PCB including the few switches and additional components (LDR, neons) required. As well as a set of tubes. You will need to add the and the USB power supply.

Factory assembled kit (no tubes): You get the main PCB including the few switches and additional components (LDR, neons) required. You will need to add the tubes and the USB power supply.

SMD kit (no tubes): You get the main PCB and all the components required, but you will have to mount them yourself. The controller is pre-programmed. You will need to add the tubes and the USB power supply.

Bare board: You get the main PCB. You will need to source all of the other parts, which are easily available from distributors or Ebay. We don't use very hard to find or special parts.
